YOUNG PEOPLE (12-25 YEAR OLDS)Katherine has worked in youth mental health for over 20 years. Young people are important because they are our future, and we want them to thrive and be the best people they can be. It isn't unusual to face challenges on the road to adulthood and independence. These could occur in relationships, learning life skills and social skills, navigating family conflict, health problems or finding purpose and belonging. Some young people go on to develop a diagnosable mental illness during this time. It's really important to intervene early and prevent the long term consequences of being unwell.
CHRISTIANS IN MINISTRY ROLESKatherine provides counselling for Christians who work in the following roles: chaplains, social workers, psychologists, cross-cultural mission workers and pastors. She uses a faith integrated approach to work place stress, burnout and other personal issues.
